Iraq must go thru its own countries trials and errors and tribulations and more.

Countries all have their horrible past and horrible present day situations.

Iraq will take care of Iraq. If they become more gay friendly over the years then fine. If not it is their country and their citizens should decide how to handle their nation.

But singling out anyone for murder is wrong any way but that is what I see from my nation. What Iraq sees might be totally different.

The men are targeted for apparently trivial details about their appearance, like the length of their hair and the fit or style of their clothes.(...)They interrogate and brutalize men to extract names of other people suspected of homosexual conduct. They specialize in grotesque and appalling torture.

Eek! Too bad they are doing this with impunity, too sad it doesn't just go with gay people but for many other things and reasons, at the same time, I am always afraid of media blowing things out of proportion. But this is really sad.

Media does blow things out of proportion.

Iraq is going thru hard times. They will "vault" into the future of humanity at their own pace.

No one can change their culture, their daily society overnight. Their country will and must grow on its own terms.

Sad of course. Normal yes.
